Budget 2023/24: Government Won't Purchase New Vehicles Next Fiscal

Presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2023/24 in the parliament today, Hon. Finance Minister Prakash Sharan Mahat has announced that the government will not purchase new vehicles for government offices next fiscal year.He has also announced the auction of non-repairable government vehicles within the next 6 months.Similarly, in order to control the increasing expenses incurred in the operation and management of government vehicles, the government will provide cash instead of fuel to government officials.
